MRI Results March 4, 2011...

We went to UT Southwestern today as complete optimist only to find that the news we would hear would not be what we had hoped for.  Dr. Maher explained that there was "something" in the margin of the original tumor site that she was concerned about.  She would not confirm that it was new tumor growth, but seemed concerned enough to begin Temodar (Chemotherapy) again on a monthly 5 day cycle.  Barry was very discouraged by the news.  His outlook was so good until he heard that news.  Now, he is so sad again.  I am hoping that the medications he is on will help him regain his momentum to FIGHT!  He has come so far to turn back now.  He has another MRI on April 28th.  He will begin the 5 day cycle of Chemo next Monday.  Please continue to pray for strength for Barry and for continued healing.  Thank you all so much for everything you do for our family.  Know that your contributions to our fundraiser that ended at the end of January, paid for two months worth of medications for Barry.  You are ALL so precious to Barry and Me and all of our family.
