Hats off to Barry... seriously, take that hat OFF

Today, in an attempt to find some way of coordinating our team as a unified group for tomorrows race, Jerry, Kellie, Jacob, Vada, Barry and I stopped by US Toy to look at their hats. They had every kind of crazy hat your could imagine.  It was actually quite amusing.  Take a look at the pictures... they are worth a thousand words.

Barry and I enjoyed a great lunch at Tias (compliments of his mom) with Jerry, Kellie and Jacob.  It was nice to get out of the house for a while.  Barry has been a bit apprehensive about leaving the house since his seizure last Tuesday.  He has felt really well this week with the exception of being a bit tired, so he decided to brave the outing.  Everything went great.  It was nice to see our family and catch-up on everything that has been going on.
