Barry and I want to thank everyone for coming out and showing their support for Barry and his ongoing battle to defeat
GLIB!
BARRY'S BUNCH OF BELIEVERS raised
$2,400 to be used to further research for a cure. A special thankS to our daughter, Chelsea, who was responsible for researching, finding and coordinating this event in honor of her Dad. Chelsea, you are a wonderful team captain and we hope that you will lead the event for 2011! We hope to make this an annual event until the funds are no longer needed. Way to go team... Thanks again for your support!!!

It really was an amazing moment! Something I will never forget, all because of our awesome family. Thanks to all who came out and donated. Dad, you are the reason we all came together; you are so important to us. Thank you for inspiring us. Love you!

ReplyDeleteAnd Melissa, Megan and Ryan Cullen! Thanks for letting us be apart of it... We love you Barry!
ReplyDeleteHey Kari! Thanks for posting on the Dad Named Josh blog. Since I have four little kids, I don't have time right now to call, but I will try to call you tonight. I want to let you know though, that I was actually not responsible for ANY of the fundraisers that happened in our community. My good friend, who is also named Kristin is actually the one that started the blog and kind of got the ball rolling. Anyway, I can at least tell you what I know and I would love to hear your story and share ours. The struggle with GBM is an everyday battle, isn't it? Just last night we realized that Josh has another complication... a perforated septum. ( I posted about it on the Dad Named Josh blog.) Anyway, I look forward to talking to you. Best wishes... Kristen Baumgarten
ReplyDeleteWe have had a crazy couple of days, I am sorry I haven't been able to call you yet. Hopefully this weekend! Faith and prayers coming your way!!!
