Radiating Day 1

What a man! Although Barry was a bit apprehensive, he was ready to go this morning and in his word "Get this ALL behind us". Last week we were joking trying to give "it" a name. "It" meaning the tumor/cancer. We settled on the name GLIB. We could not think of any human/animal or mineral named GLIB and it basicially stands for GlioBlastoma... our enemy. So from now on when you see the word GLIB used in a negative context, you will understand what we are talking about. We are looking forward to the day when we can have a memorial service for GLIB. Our memorial will not celebrate GLIB's existence, but the closeness that it has brought to our family, our spiritual rebirth and our new found friends brought to us by its very existence. Help us put GLIB to rest! A special thanks to Dr. Timmerman and his staff for taking time today to drop in to say hello. A special thanks to Liz for sharing the news of our generous church family and their willingness to help with our household and our family. We are truly blessed to have you all in our lives. Thank you George and Lynn for sharing information about your WellSpring ministry, we look forward to learning more about it. Thank you Christy for being with us today during our appointment, I cannot tell you what it means to us to have you there. Can't wait to see you tomorrow. Chelsea, Russell, and Joey, it was great to see you all. Rachel, we love you and appreciate your call. Mom and Dad, thank you for calling. Lisa, thank you so much for calling us this moring. It means the world to hear from you. Jerry, Dennis, Jill and Kellie, thank you so much for checking on us. We love you ALL so very much!
