Today was a fantastic day! The sky was full of puffy white clouds. It was only 88 degrees when we left for the hospital. We saw the ususal smiling valet attendants and welcoming receptionists. I have to say that the staff at UT Southwestern far surpass any that Barry and I have encountered in the DFW Metroplex at other hospitals. We LOVE the people there.
We left the hospital in great spirits and decided to do a bit of window shopping. It was so much fun. We went to a local rock yard and saw the most beautiful landscaping rocks (very large) called green glacial ice. They were absolutely beautiful. I wish I had taken a picture. Just wishful thinking for the far future.
So far we have not had any response to our flyers or ads for the truck. We have decided that we may have to offer the dealership where I bought my car a package deal with both of our vehicles in hopes of getting out of that payment. We plan to pray about it this evening and see what evolves tomorrow. It would mean so much to get that expense out of our monthly budget.
Betty Tolar of HOCC brought over dinner for the family and it was DELICIOUS. Thank you so much! My apologies, I can not remember who she said made the cake, but it was WONDERFUL. Thank you for the cake as well. Barry and I appreciate the meals so much. Bless you.
